So Aston Villa v Burnley gets called off less than two hours before kickoff.... and just like that! I lose a tender.... šŸ˜” Nevermind the permutation was for 13.42 I’m not sure that calling games off this late is good for anybody in the game actually... It’s frustrating all round!! And how does it help not postponing all fixtures... šŸ¤”šŸ¤”

I would never have guessed... Just shows the importance it makes to win home matches, in total it’s about 57 points over the season. And that is close to the tally for reaching top 4.

Burnley v Watford has been called off due to Covid, less than 3 hours before kick off. The match is postponed. Meanwhile, Leicester v Spurs will go ahead, with the FA rejecting both clubs’ request for postponement.
  5. There still remained the possibility that the leading two could’ve taken each other out...
  6. Agreed. But there’s no way anybody knew that racing would continue after the safety car, until the penultimate lap. And the freeing up of only certain lapped cars was also unprecedented. RB reacted and gambled on the pit stop and it worked, while MB were slow to see the opportunity.
  7. Nah Dude, I think it is more a case of questioning the rules and decisions rather than who won. After all, rules are the means to make racing fair. And I am not a Lewis Hamilton fan, but I think he was cheated out of the win.
  8. The point Ferrari are making is that Sainz still had a race to run, and had to pass cars which he had already lapped, unlike Max. Sainz also had to make sure that he didn’t get overtaken for the podium position he was in at the time of the safety car. Essentially, they are saying that the race was not only between Max and Ham, so the release of lapped cars should have been consistent through the field. I think Sainz would have lost the position if all the lapped cars were let through. But let’s see if anything even comes of it. Still, it’s getting messy...
  9. I absolutely agree that the season is over. However, going into 2022 racing calendar all of the issues encountered in 2021 will definitely be raised for clarity in the rules. Already, it has caused Teams to longer have direct contact with the Race Director during races.... Hhhmmmmmmm, surely that decision didn’t need to wait till after the final race....! It was clear and obvious prior to the race.
  10. There were lapped cars behind Max and in front of Sainz which were not released before the last lap restart. Therefore, Sainz was disadvantaged by competing cars further back who had fresher, faster compound tires that he had to defend against on older hard compound tires... Lets see if all this comes into play while the events of the Race Director’s decisions are being scrutinized
  11. So now Ferrari are unhappy with Michael Masi allowing lapped cars between the two lead cars, to unlap themselves... This, while keeping the lapped cars between the third placed Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, who was still competing for the final podium position! This just gets more and more messy...! Might have been easier to stick to the rules, rather than ā€œwant to go motor racingā€... for one lap!

So West Ham throw me out on my permutation today, but the points they dropped favour Spurs’ opportunity to leapfrog them with the games in hand (if Spurs win)... I suppose it’s a story of swings and roundabouts.... šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø
  13. And to think that, with 10 laps to go, Karen Horner admitted that MV33 had a mountain to climb... Then Latifi showed up! And in the end LH44 and Merc fell asleep on the strategy...! Congratulations to Petrona MB on taking the Constructors’ Championship šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½
  14. Now THAT was EPIC!!!!! Well done MV33 and RBR šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½

I could gladly lose my ten bucks bet if the Che-Leeds game finishes right now... lol Edit: Update with score at 2-2 and then it turns sour... lol
  20. I said at the beginning of the week that I was expecting LH44 to start 2nd... and in the post quali interview he indicated that he was very happy with his starting position and tyre strategy! So let’s see.... šŸ¤žšŸ½
  21. Well done on a great Quali from MV33 šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½

This is a weird story... Don’t hold your breath, coz it seems to change on a daily

  24. Okay.... So, MV33 has a win ratio of 9-8; better car shouldn’t be beaten right? LH44 gets a penalty for rear wing not being in spec, favoring MV33, but LH44 still wins the race...; After the race, FIA apologizes that the rear wing was actually within regulation...; Can’t see favor for LH44 in that! Same car MV33 had a 32 point lead in this championship just a few races ago! MV33 agrees to allow LH44 to pass on track, with a ā€œstrategicā€ objective that he fails to execute! Oh, I see you didn’t mention anything about brains... I don’t have sufficient evidence regarding the reasons for changes to the track, so I’ll give you that one... but the race is still to be run remember... Anyway, I still think that savvy could be the deciding factor in this title race.
