  3. Wepat im sure Cearus did not mean anything bad towards you with his comment. It has just been a thing in the past that some noobs with no active posts in the forums and with no credibility turned out to be scammers, hence the caution around new members that join just to start selling. Numerous hubbers have mentioned in the threads that they do not even look at ads from new memebers with no posts. So from my side, welcome to the Hub. Glad you had good dealings on your very first day of joining but don't go and pick a fight now on your second day of being a Hubber. You will make life difficult for yourself. Again welcome to the Hub !!!! Happy hubbing........

  8. 1st one would be the bomb... shot Flowta
  9. Would appreciate that bud. Thanks. Can you remember more or less what they looked like? Would they work on the same principal?.just need some tugs that will work on the ss as I see my wheel moves a bit under heavy power transfer
  10. Anyone know where I can get any form of these? http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/d/l275/m/m3WhZWfkd71tS-03X5XHdeg.jpg Think I read Flowta saw some somewhere? Ping Flowta!!
  11. Refurbished a XX crank for a fellow hubber.... Removed original paintwork to raw carbon, airbrushed some new graphics and some fluo yellow accents to match his bike... finished with matt clear coat... Reckon they worth a share here in the porn thread....
  12. So after some tinkering and replacing some goodies on my SS its finally where it was always intended to be... Full rigid single speed.... One last thing I would like to do still is to split the rear stay and go belt drive but that will be a project for a later stage when I have time and money for the conversion... What I might do in the meantime is paint it.... getting bit tired of the full carbon look ... never thought id say that
  13. Tell me bout it..... Got moered a helse shot om my leg.....
  14. Hahaha yeah that's true Hairy... was just so funny....the wife running into the garage all bewildered asking WTF hahaha and the whole garage including me full of sealant. Classic.
  15. Jarre talking bout ghetto tjoepless.... been doing some upgrades to my SS and desided to go ghetto on the wheels. BIG mistake pumping the damn thing too hard with the compressor.... had the backwheel say BOOOOOM just a few minutes ago hahahahahaha Geax sealant everywhere.... had to laugh at myself for making such a rookie mistake as I have literally done hundreds over the last few years.... eish.... now to go clean off all the sealant....
  16. Waaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha I was having that exact same thought while I was typing that response ......Wanted to change it but thought nah someone will pick up on it Sharp jc
  17. Yeah it very easy to fit into the new bearing. I put it on a flat surface and then just tap the spacer in with a rubber mallet. Just make sure you dont enter skew....
  18. I put the bearing on a vise and then a old screwdriver through the spacer that sit right on the edge of the spacer and moer it. You just need to budge it a wee bit then it starts moving easier. Sometimes I do destroy the bearing but considering its already shot and im just after the spacer im not too fussed. Once you have taken one or two out the process becomes easier.
  19. Read my post earlier and you will see shimano and gxp uses the same bearings. There is just a stepdown insert on the non drive side bearing when used for GXP
  20. Hahahaha ok ek wou vra of jy n midget is maar was bang ek kry n law boek teen die kop
  21. Baie nice Catgirl !!!!! Many happy safe and carefree miles!!!!!!! Vragie.... Hoekom lyk hy so klein?
  22. Have never come across one with that part being part of the inner race. I do remember battling to get one out not so long ago then I just got a bigger hammer instead of the rubber mallet and moered harder. Eventually got it out.... You can even use a piece of 22mm copper pipe(plumbing) as a spacer the things I've done with bicycles eish
  23. Yeah I hear you Rouxtjie but I must say the Sram crank with the removable spider is just so versatile, specially with the direct mount chainrings that's available lately.
  24. Or what most people don't know, knock out the non drive side bearing. Inside that bearing knock out the step down spacer. Now take that spacer and pop it into a shimano bearing and bobs your uncle. You can use a Shimano bb on your GXP crank. Been doing it for years and never had any problems. This is the spacer you are looking for from the GXP bb. http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j351/mkirby258/Crank1_zps3c48ed67.jpg
  25. Ai that sucks..... Bastards invading one's privacy like that and just take what they want.... sure as hell makes my blood boil.
