yeah id love to do that! i wanna go to that pietermaritzberg track......looks hectic! Also Cap, we gotta get you jumping! at the paarl track, every jump/drop/tecnical section had a chicken run, but they slow you down sooo much, you gotta just go for it! ask Mitch about me on my first road gap attempt, first time i decided to take the chicken run REALLY quickly, and i flew off the track about 10m and drifted down the hill lol, second attempt i actually took the jump, but WAY over shot the jump and i ploughed into this bush/cameraman......but after that i had it. and all the other jumps arnt too big, the table top is kinda tricky, i just pulled up and into a cased position, then just before landing i pulled my brakes and leveld out, i think Eric got an awesome shot of me doing that, also a guy videoed it. and i gotta practise my berms! i flew off the last one on my first timed run btw, wednesday and thursday 4:30?

ahhhh no worries, well glad to hear you a bit better. Murray and I are rideing wednewday and thursday at 4:30 if you keen to join us? And for Paarl......we can make our own buzz! we must get the guys together and organize lifts and shuttling for us (You, Angus, Mitch, Murray, Bret or brent? (Mitches friend), Daniel, Me and uhhhhh who have i forgotten?) but it would be so cool if we could all rock up together like 10 of us and we ride together, also we must do another tokai soon! Paarl is just really too hot to be tottaly enjoyable at the mo. Mitch and Angus will know what i mean.

Ya Mitch that sounds awesome! Cap, up at the top of the track they have big drops and walls and things like that around this big open area and its called "The Playground"

So bleak you didnt make it Cap.....this morning/afternoon was amazing, we all did the road gap and its sooo easy! and totally overrated. we practised once or twice before the race. Angus hurt his foot on one of the practise runs which was bleak, but Mitch and I did pretty well. then at about 12 we raced, in the midday heat, I dunno about Angus and Mitch but i was over pedalling so i rolled around allot in the exposed sun, but as soon as I hit the forest i opened up, hit all the jumps real;ly well and I set my Marzo up PERFECTLY for the track it was amazingly smooth and firm! Our first run, Mitch bailed and Angus's chain got stuck, and i bailed at the last berm!! litrally 2 meters from the finnish line. Mitch got 2:51 I got 2:52 and Angus got over 3 I think because of his chain. Then by our second run at about 2, we were all exaughsted, I clipped my bars on a rock and that smashed my wheel into the rock and off coarse, it was extremely tiring and hot out in the open, and I felt soo sh*t from the heat and from being unfit. Mitch got 2:51 again! I got 2:54 and I forgot Angus's. All in all it was an awesome event and track, and im really looking forward to having a look at the pictures! it was so cool!

ummm Murray, shuttles are from 9 to 10 30. 11 till 2 is timed racing i think...

ok so road gap tomorrow! im sure that gap will save you at least 2 seconds time, that chicken run is slow, and when you ride it fast, you fly off into the forest. i nearly hit a camera man, but i think he got an awesome shot of me holding an insane drift, both wheels for about 5 meters down the slope lol. ill try get there early aswell Mitch, can I grab youre cell number? then ill call you and we can meet up. Cap: PLEASE get better and be there tomorrow its such a fun track, its nice and flowy and fast! much less technical than Tokai and you can really open up there, and i remember you telling me you like flow and speed.

ahhh that sucks! well Paarl was pretty cool today, I saw Mitch and Angus, Angus showed me the track, its pretty awesome! then Mitch's brakes ran outta padding so he couldnt ride Mitch, Angus: what time you guys rocking up tomorrow?
