He's a fast rider. damn fast."
  6. oh i seeee. that sucks man
  7. oh ya, well that sounds cool! ive never been there, whats it like? Murray: put your giants wheels on your Nitrous, and i think they 135, i will double check in the morning for you and then sms you
  8. Tomorrow morning at 9, got family coming in the afternoon so cant ride then when you going?
  9. Ok ya good plan, Murray just put your other wheels on your Nitrous?
  10. Oh lol ok, but is that too long or too short?
  11. Then thatl be my fault, but im sure it will be 100% feels so solid! I did a 1.7 meter drop onto a flat piece of grass at my house...lol, and when i had rebound completely open, it felt like i was thrown around a bit, but now ive closed it just a bit and its perfect. Just one thing, I downloaded a manual for it online, and there are NO lables or explinations for the rebound, compressions and preload with air and coil ect, its all safety warnings and how to not damage the fork with high pressure hoses when cleaning. although I think i got it fiqured: Bottom red knob is low speed compression, "-" sign is faster "+" is slower Top red knob is high speed compression, cant tell yet, cant detect a difference (not going fast or big enough yet) Top black knob is rebound, "-" faster "+" slower. but now there are two places for air? are they both for preload? I read up somewhere that one is preload, one is bottomout resistance? Am i correct in what i said above?
  12. Thats big/big combo. why you say "ouch"?
  13. Im pretty sure, yep. but im going to tokai tomorrow for her first ride there, just wanna make sure everythings fine on the big stuff, if thats alright?
  14. Thats in second range and first gear, im sure thats pretty close to the shortest I should have it?
  15. ok im gonna go fiddle around and see what happens, thanks for the help so far!
  16. Yep, tight but not too tight, the length is so that the derailers arm is perpendicular to the ground in my "fast" gear (I ride downhill) becasue thats where i found most of the pull on that deraileur arm, as apposed to it being higher or lower than 90 degrees to the ground.
  17. Is there any way you can change the strength of the pull on the arm of a LX derailer? I want mine to pull back tighter to take up the slack in my chain.
  18. hahahah Cap! good news, ive been fiddleing around all day today and I think i have perfected my bikes settings now. it is amazingly plush now, without throwing you off the bike after a big drop, yet the high speed compression still soaks up everything its soooo sweeeeet, I love it so much!
  19. boxxer?
  20. I do remember that intense, what about it?
