Being able to bring some joy to a few children?s life?s where truly a humbling experience, and made me realize of how fortunate we are and how we should count our blessings. The most touching part in this whole event was the following: There were enough toys for each child to be able to get two toys. As Marion said: each of them had the opportunity to choose two toys, but with a bit of a difference, one toy, they were able to keep as their own, but in the strive to teach these children the meaning of sharing and caring for other people, the 2nd toy will be taken to a nearby squatter camp where they will give their 2nd toy to another child, that also do not have a toy. It was very touching to see this, and to think about it, they have nothing, yet, when they receive a little bit, they are willing to share their little bit with another. Def. a lesson to be learnt from this.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have always been very proud to be a member of Cycle Lab and today I can say that Cyclelab SuperCycling showed yet again that they are a caring and compassionate cycling club.
