  1. RSA VAT on import goods are calculated at 14% plus 10% on the 14% which for easy calculation can be derived at 15,4% of the value declared on the invoice .... on parts, no IMPORT duties are applicable; only on completed BIKES ....

Obviously someone from SA found how to provoke South Africans, from either side, with the comments / description; thereby getting the sensation what he/she needed. Whether SA still needs this type of sensation, who knows? If the message was about the car and the stupidity of someone driving a car for 220km in 1st gear is debatable .. to me it appears it was about proviking South Africans with sensation!

  12. Not quite as I understood it last ... CSA (or each provincial cycling body) tries and have the provincial champs on the same weekend (time) so racers can not jump a province ....

  21. Gentlemen ... just relax a bit!!! Fact is that not all PDI's are thieves ... a vast amount of PDI's can also afford expensive bicycles like any other South Africans ... Yes it does look odd when suspicious person rides an expensive bicycles; you do get "good" South Africans looking after their domestics and gardeners, and yes some of the goods do include expensive bicycles ... The old saying "don't judge a book by its cover, read it"
