  1. I meant the beach road and not M4. Agreed, which is why I hate road cycling I downloaded Komoot and managed to find some inner roads. Thanks.
  2. I stay either in Bluff or Riverside when I'm in Durbs. My routes are down the promenade and a few back roads via La Lucia. Are there any safe mtb routes to Umhlanga? Wouldn't mind riding the beach road.
  3. Thanks. That's what I did. Sorted already
  4. Yeah still no response. I actually managed to get it matched. Bike is like new now.
  5. Yes, X. Good point. Im thinking the screen is quite small though. Will load a route on my next ride and test that. Tx
  6. I want to use a GPS to follow the route. At the same time sync my HR and track my cadence. A watch on the wrist on a mountain bike is not the best.
  7. Thanks all. I understand that the phone has its limits. I currently only ride with my Fenix 5.i want to ride longer distances and have been following some on Strava to use their routes. For now, cadence sensor is fine, HR from Fenix and a cheap phone as a computer. Strava and Bike trails offline apps a good start.
  8. Yeah. Some good stuff there. I guess you right as that is dependent on the rotational velocity of the pedals. Only cadence sensor then. Tx
  9. Hi. I have a spare phone that I want to use as a bike computer. Looking for a steady stem bracket. also want to track my power. Can I buy a sensor that just pairs with the phone?nothing too expensive. Will be on an mtb. Thanks
  10. Thanks Robert. That will be great. Please share Strava name
  11. Hi. Need to start doing longer rides. Looking for around 100km off-road, not much hills and safe as I will be mostly doing this solo. Gpx files will be great. Based in Gauteng. Tx
  12. Hi. I have a 2021 scott spark 960.it's matte grey and has a deep scratch. I want to do a repair but need the color code. I tried reaching out to Scott but no response. Thanks
  13. Yes it does have a clutch. Dont know where to start on the conversion..lol
  14. yeah, i did also within the last year replace cassette, bottom bracket and crank with chain so they are good to go for a while. thanks
  15. yes i understand its not to todays standards but ride premium despite the age. Bike has been on sale for a bit but struggling to get sold. Anything less and not worth it to sell. Only time will tell.
