  1. Looking for a Shimano shifter bracket. The one that fits on the shifter and attaches to handle bar. I stripped the thread. Based in Jhb.
  2. Hi. Recently bought a kickr core and then realized that my Fenix 5 only broadcasts HR over Ant+. I have a fit it Versa as well however both Rouvy and Mywoosh won't pick it up. Can the Versa broadcast or am I left with no choice to buy an Ant + USB?
  3. Thank you for the support
  4. Decided to move on and purchase the spacers. The bike shop is doing this as well as fine tuning everything as it should be,on and off. Atleast in this way, the install will be guaranteed.
  5. He provided the C and D adapters which I'm using. These adaptors are separate and are not included. I don't mind paying for it, if it will fix the problem and not instead give me a new problem on the road. Just want to make sure.
  6. So called Wahoo support. They said the kickr core only supports Sram Nx 12 speed cassette which luckily mine has. Recommended to buy the set of adaptors but they don't sound confident that it will work. Bike and trainer sitting at the bike shop as I need to make a decision. My worry is that it pushes the frame out a bit and my derailer is an issue when I need to ride out. Adaptors are 799 excl delivery. Really stuck with this decision. Here's a video if anyone can make this easier for me. VID-20250217-WA0001.mp4
  7. Thanks. I think the correct adaptors are on and bike is compatible, just need to understand why it's not working as it should.
  8. I have a 12x148mm thru axle which takes adaptors C and E. The adaptor for the Cassette screws right in and almost flush to the Cassette. I can unscrew it half way but I'm not sure if it's meant to be like that and if it's safe.
  9. Hey. Picked up a used Kickr core with a 12 speed SRAM cassette. Included was the road bike thru axel and spacer and the spacers for MTB and thru axel. The previous owner had a Scott 12 speed MTB similar to mine (mine has 12 speed Shimano). He demonstrated that it worked fine. When i mounted mine, it was not sounding great. I took it to my local bike shop and they require to buy a spacer kit. These spacer kits are expensive. For those of you that use an MTB, did you have to buy a separate spacer kit than what was provided? if so, is there an alternate option?
  10. I have always bought second hand without any issues. At that price point you can pick up some decent hardtails. Look out for a 1x drivetrain which you don't have to worry about upgrading in the future. When viewing a bike make sure you confirm that you have the right size. You should be a L for most. Also check if the chain is stretched by using a chain checker. Usually if stretched then it can cause wear to other components which can be costly to repair.don't rush the purchase. Good luck.
  11. I meant the beach road and not M4. Agreed, which is why I hate road cycling I downloaded Komoot and managed to find some inner roads. Thanks.
  12. I stay either in Bluff or Riverside when I'm in Durbs. My routes are down the promenade and a few back roads via La Lucia. Are there any safe mtb routes to Umhlanga? Wouldn't mind riding the beach road.
  13. Thanks. That's what I did. Sorted already
  14. Yeah still no response. I actually managed to get it matched. Bike is like new now.
