yes i understand its not to todays standards but ride premium despite the age. Bike has been on sale for a bit but struggling to get sold. Anything less and not worth it to sell. Only time will tell.

Thanks. I only ride on the weekends and only about 40km but proper bush. I don't race and only social ones at the moment. My budget is 23k for a used one but obviously banking on my sale funds.

Hi. My bike is currently for sale but im undecided. Its the Merida below. Bike rides like new. Thinking of upgrading to 1 x 11 and perhaps a spray to another color. Is it really worth it or best to sell and spend the extra to get the spec i want? Hi. Experiencing issues with my right SLX 10 speed shifter. The cover rocks and doesn't seem to have contact to turn the gears. I have to use my left hand and hold the underneath to select gears. I tried to have alook with the help of Youtube but that spring is pain in the butt to get back. Mech opened next day and got it working but worked for a few kms. To be honest, he didn't seem to be clued up about this. Whats the best solution.? A replacement is expensive however my riding is compromised now so that would be an option but last resort. Tx

Makes sense from that direction. Riding from Midrand would be vulnerable.

Don't you consider riding to the red barn a bit dangerous based on the nearing towns.
