  1. Do you have stock of this groupo? https://www.cyclesunitedonline.co.za/shop/groupset/sram-xx1-eagle-axs-groupset/
  2. I had my bike insured with Miway Insurance. and I have never had any issues with them. First Claim i lost my Brand new Adidas Glasses with the CTCT that blew off my face, Had a new pair in 5 days. second, i was on a training ride, Hit a pothole with my Carbon Wheel.Had a nice crack on it. They replaced the entire wheel. even my tyre and tube that burst with the impact. 7 days and i had my new wheel.. So they are defiantly worth considering
  3. https://www.cyclesunitedonline.co.za/shop/groupset/sram-xx1-eagle-axs-groupset/ I am not a mountainbiker but i saw this today. Looks like a good deal.
  4. Hi Clinton I was in the same boat as you are currently. I was also racing as a elite with some good results even winning a few small races and had this huge dream of going to Europe. I sent hundreds if not thousands of companies "Spam" Mails on how i am the next Chris Froome. That approach i can tell you now doesn't work How i got something that worked for me. Approach a local Elite team. See if you can secure a spot there. This is where people/bigger teams start to notice you. And sponsors are more willing to help a team than a individual. Some teams will even try and send you overseas for races or training See it in a sense of it's like starting at a company. You start at the bottom and make your way up. I hope this will help you
  5. Hi guys Saw this morning TOKEN is giving away free Supacaz MTB grips - https://www.facebook.com/tokencycling/posts/1794738897315850
  6. Have a look at these, Might solve your problem https://tokencycling.co.za/shop/treefrog-elite-2-bike-carrier/
  7. Maybe consider the new Token wheels as well.
  8. These 2 lines just makes my head spin "i will be the one responsible for the pick up" "i can forward it to the pick up agent"
  9. I also agree with dasilvarsa. Maybe spending a bit more is going to save you alot of effort to service a 2nd hand bike. BUT i normally wait for the Cycle Lab Clearance sale end of August. I got my girlfriend a Scott Aspect 970 for R3000 and it included a bike setup as well.
  10. So Hogg goes to CSA and want to go straight to the top of the ladder because he has a "secret plan" So in my mind this is how it plays off in my head. 1. Hogg gets hired 2. Hogg implements his "secret plan" 3. Hogg's plan fails 4. CSA sitting with the same problem they did before they hired him And this "“My ideas were shot down in the past, but it took me four days to get a R50 000 sponsorship to start professional cycling." - getting sponsorship's these days are not the easiest things to do
  11. Maybe this you are looking for? https://tokencycling.co.za/shop/token-heggset-1-1-8-integrated-or-threadless-black/
  12. So i have tested the Tufo S33 Tyres. They are Tubular Clinchers. AND Tubeless.I Run them on Normal Clincher Wheels (So no need for conversions what so ever. But my point is, I use them for training, I use the Velowurks Sealant and so far i had quite a few punctures and not once had to stop so bomb it.
  13. I think it will be best to go for a bike fit. You might be 1.6m but your legs might be a bit longer than the normal 1.6m guy and you will have to get a 165mm or ever 170mm cranks. I had the same issue. had to change my crank arm length because i have legs like an ostrich.
