What we do tomorrow is important. Important not only to ride in memory of a fallen brother, but also to create awareness of our cause. We are a vulnerable class of road user. Where there is an accident, we will be worse off than the other party. This is what we need to bring across. If we can promote attentiveness, patience and respect for one another and the law, we will already be better off. It is my hope that there will be masses and masses of cyclists tomorrow. I for one will be there.

Make sure it's got caffeine in and you'll have a whole lotta fun.

Yes. If your eligibility is better than your current number, you can choose to upgrade your seeding before the end of the season if you want to. Handy if you want to start earlier.

What a lekker race. End was tough though, as expected. Had a go at Vissershok, but just couldn't do the whole one. Had to walk the middle bit. Same with Odendaal. I really miss my MTB granny! Best part for me was coming back from Windmeul and the long stretch before Klipheuwel. Settling in a nice rhythm. Thereafter it is a bit messy. Passing lots of short route riders and the road surface is not ayoba. Well, onwards and upwards.
