I recall him crashing out of 2021 Olympics and 2023 world champs - both early on in the race.
and definitely not calling his skill set into question - just shows XCO is super tough now - especially when you start at the back and have to fight your way though.
XCO courses are getting wild with the jumps now, I know they have droppers but they all still have really aggressive positions with negative stem angles - to hit those jumps after 8 or 9 laps takes some skills.
Bikenetwork.co.za just reminded me that Moir is only the 3rd Saffa to get an elite men's XCO podium at a world cup. Burry and the current World Champ is great company.
