There are about 30km trials open now. The maintenance was done by club members. The trails only have a chance to survive if more riders join the club. See info below. I rode there yesterday for the first time in almost a year. Happy to be back. I really missed Buffels

I wear padded lycra under the baggies. The Fox inner for trail rides under 50km up to Assos Cento for Gravel grinding over 100km. All depends on actual time on the saddle

I agree. I had a 130 Rev on my Camber and it worked well. My Stumpy is a 2016 with a 140 Pike. The 2017 and 2018 had even more travel. The 2019 also comes in a ST version to replace the Camber with 130 travel. It would probably be more cost-effective to replace the bike with a Stumpy if you need more travel.

I took mine along in March 2018. The bike and bag weighed just under 23kg and that left me with 7kg of checked in luggage. Additional to that I took hand luggage of 7kg as well as a computer bag with additional clothing. All worked out fine. I almost lost a bag at the Sydney stopover on the way back though. I also shipped my brothers bike there when he emigrated and that cost us R5k one way. Don't go overweight - it is very expensive.

Any advice on the most cost effective way to get a Mountain Bike in Melbourne will really be appreciated. It is boxed and and ready to fly. Excess baggage rates were just too expensive! The owner is in Melbourne already

The MTB events seems to be on the scarce side. They do however include a cycling shirt, some discount vouchers and your SAC fees.

Hi guys, Where can I take my bike to have the front fork reconditioned? It still works fine but there are scratches on the pipes and I was told to have it reconditioned ASAP or replace it for R12k!
