    Windguru reports 10-13 knot winds for sunday, from the South - it could either get better or worse than that. but there will be wind. bleedToWin has it down - Its always windy in Cape Town, just accept it and pedal harder.

    Well then, if its a power based challenge and biased towards young pro's then what was the point of the competition all along - and we wont know what the wattbike challenge will be until the day it happens...

    I'd like to see the audited results, because I have a feeling only pro's/semi-pro's are going to get chosen, so VA has the best representation possible in the Epic, wearing their kit.

    the TC's say the winners will be contacted telephonically on the 3rd March, but there is nothing saying that the winners would be announced on the 3rd - I'm playing devils advocate here somewhat. I'm also wanting to know who the hell are the 3 teams that are in the final - but realistically if I have not been called, its not me so I'm pretty much over it. I enjoyed the challenges and it pushed me to do things out of my cycling comfort zone, and I'm better for it so I at least appreciate that part of it.

    Just want to say thanks to Theunissa for the cassette, going to have fun doing a 1x10 for my mate this weekend (beats 3x8 lol). May the MTB gods keep your tyres inflated and your uphills low gradient. Pk

    Hey TheRussian, my mates wheel/hub is 32-spoke. 135mm with 5mm QR/Skewer. Currently running an 8-speed cassette on the freehub. Thanks, Pk

    Hoping a hubber can help out. Have a mate, doesnt earn much but rocking around on a Silverback Slade 26er - his rear hub is destroyed - wondering if anyone has a 135mm QR Rear hub they would be able to donate or swap for something, I have a bunch of stuff lying around, you never know maybe I have something you need.
