  1. Your ad says Sram GX 11-speed, 10-50t cassette - SRAM dont make a 10-50t in 11-speed, only 12-speed (eagle). Looking at your pics, you definately have an 11-speed derailleur, and the cassette looks to be a 10-42t rather - might want to update your ad accordingly.
  2. Here she is in road-bike Guise, different wheels with Conti racekings, still 140mm, did a 110km ride yesterday, comfy, quick no problems:
  3. It all depends how you setup your sag. 10% sag is going to feel like a tower compared to 30-35%. the 140mm @ 30% feels just perfect, makes me lean forward into climbs and tech sections, but it never feels like its "nose light"
  4. 140mm PIke with 30% sag and 3 tokens works just great.
  5. I have a 140mm Pike on mine and the geometry is fine.
  6. I know its sacrilege, but I'm thinking of selling mine :/
  7. Remember that with every 20mm of fork length increase, HA adjusts about 1 degree slacker and SA about 0.5 degrees.
  8. Thanks I have a 120mm lying around as well in case it needs it. Have a good feeling about the 140mm though...
  9. Thanks ! Fork came as a 140mm, decided to give it a try...seat angle is not _tooo_ bad..
  10. The Revelation is flexy, so going with a Pike instead, the one I'm getting is 140mm, but I have a 120mm airspring for it as well, which I'm thinking of going with. Otherwise the bike is great to ride, climbs way better than I expected, still need to take it out for some heavier trail stuff.
  11. Didnt get to ride that day due to rain, and I've been off the bike since then with knee issues that require surgery next week, so a few more weeks until I can enjoy it ! Shimano Zee 170mm cranks on the way to complete the Zee brand usage + less pain on my knee.
  12. 13. Is there a link to route profile's/elevation guides ? My fiancee wants to do the 32km, but is worried the the elevation is out of her current limits.
  14. Windguru reports 10-13 knot winds for sunday, from the South - it could either get better or worse than that. but there will be wind. bleedToWin has it down - Its always windy in Cape Town, just accept it and pedal harder.
  15. Well then, if its a power based challenge and biased towards young pro's then what was the point of the competition all along - and we wont know what the wattbike challenge will be until the day it happens...
  16. I'd like to see the audited results, because I have a feeling only pro's/semi-pro's are going to get chosen, so VA has the best representation possible in the Epic, wearing their kit.
  17. I know, there are a lot of anxious people waiting (Well 253 anxious people...)
  18. the TC's say the winners will be contacted telephonically on the 3rd March, but there is nothing saying that the winners would be announced on the 3rd - I'm playing devils advocate here somewhat. I'm also wanting to know who the hell are the 3 teams that are in the final - but realistically if I have not been called, its not me so I'm pretty much over it. I enjoyed the challenges and it pushed me to do things out of my cycling comfort zone, and I'm better for it so I at least appreciate that part of it.
