  1. Has/is anyone ever used the Inov-8 Parkclaw 240/275 shoes? I'm keen to get a pair wanted to hear users thoughts. Cheers
  2. Hi all I have been running without a plan for while now and decided that I need some structure, and to make sure I structure my running I have entered a half marathon. The half is only in June so should give me enough time to work up a base and to tackle the run with confidence (I hope...) So need to ask a questio about shoes, I bought a pair of Adidas Energy Boost a while back and have only really started to use them............ But they are killing my feet fairly wide feet) have tried "wearing them in by wearing them as everyday shoes that has not helped. My wife is in the US so am able to get shoes at a decent price if I give her the make, model and size if anyone has any suggestions.
  3. From starting off slowly in the beginning, was around 560th place, I managed to claw me way back up to 178th. So not to bad for a first timer who didn't really know much about the riders, methinks it was a bit of beginners luck!!

  5. I think there are a lot of people who fall into this trap of thinking that they are not fit/skilled enough to join group rides. I can def count myself as one of them!!

  9. Hi I know that this is mainly a cycling forum, but with the no. of running topics poppong up I thought I would post a question to see if anyone can offer some advise..... A while back a started and completed a couch to 5km program. I have now set myself a target of improving a km a week for a long run, the rest of my runs are made up of an interval (1min hard/1min easy x 6) and a 2 runs of between 3 & 5km. I do throw in a cycle or 3 where I can. At the moment I am aiming to get to a 10km run (non-stop) by December and then hopefully build on that in the new year to enter a half mid next year. Is there anything I should look at changing, or do I carry on with what I am doing, and increase the amount of reps for the intervals etc. Cheers
