  3. Does anyone know who or where I can get the app for Brose to manage the motor parameters
  4. Thx all. As I’ve had a stroke, therecumbent option is part of my rehabilitation . I’m thinking it might be cheaper to travel to Europe to collect and return with the bike as a used item.and brinh g it back with me as a excess luggage
  5. Greetings all. ik Jill looking at having an recumbent trike custom built in the Czech Republic and I’m looking for advice with regards to the importation of the bike into South Africa. Particular, I’m concerned about the duties that need to be paid when the bike is shipped back to South Africa. In addition, they will be vet payable and how would I go about reclaiming thevat There is anybody on this group that has imported in South Africa that can share any advice. I’ll be most grateful. Thank you.
  6. Simply advertising an item doesn't imply desperation from the seller. It's disrespectful for BH members to propose offers 40 to 50% lower than the asking price. If unable to afford the asking price, make a reasonable offer instead of attempting to take advantage. Let's be realistic with our offers.
  7. greetings all. having survived a stroke and being left as a left sided hemiplegic, I'm now wanting to find ways to return to my passion of cyclin. (herewith ends the sob story!) so my attention has been drawn to the world of recumbant cycling with highly modified trikes. checkout ICE trikes and AZUB trikes..... and the excitement is starting to build again....... my question is.... who else rides recumbant cycles and do you ride off road.
  8. Having had a stroke recently, I am not willing to give up on my passion for mountain biking, although this is somewhat of a new challenge I’m seriously thinking of moving to wards hand cycling to get me back out there again are there any active hand cyclist here tha c offer me advice on how to get into the next chapter of my cycling lie?
  9. Thanks for the suggestions all, greatly appreciated.
  10. hi all, I need to replace bearings and spindle on the above Garmin peddles, any idea where I can get spares from?
  11. Greetings fellow cyclists.... Anyone know of a reputable retailer running good deals on Assos Bib Shorts? Appreicate the help, thanks a million.
  12. 450km done, and loving every minute of it. So far, replaced the handle bar grips as stock grips are hard ops the hands. Find I work just as hard as I do on my analogue bike, just go a tad faster and tad bit further. On the single tracks, its an absolute pleasure....so much fun.
  13. oooops sorry, not always on the forum. I weight 96kgs, am riding fit and manage assistance levels to maximise my distance. elevation gain was 684m.
  14. bought the bike, ridden over 200km in a week on it. all I can say is wow! It feels like you are cheating.... its no normal e-bike, you have to manage the battery and assistance levels if you want to do any distance. So far I've managed to finish a 52km ride with 4% left in reserve. but that also means you ride a fair amount with no assistance. I love it!
