She managed to break away on her own and caught up with the guys in front. She also dropped them before the line and had a SOLO ride to the finish!!

Laas jaar toe sy oorsee gerace het, was daar gese dat sy nooit weer oorsee gestuur gaan word nie want sy kan nie oorsee race nie.... en nou word sy sommer worlds toe gestuur? Word jy gekies oor hoeveel die selectors van jou hou of omdat jy regtig goed is? en moet jy as ryer altyd stilbly as iets nie regverdig gedoen word nie?? as iemand my dit kan antwoord sal dit baie waardeur word!!

To all the hubbers: Thanks for all the support and congratulations messages during Junior World Championships. It is good to know that I have so many people believing in me! When you are so far from home, you won't believe how much it helps! To the TCS members for supprising me at the airport.... YOU ARE THE BEST!! Just hope my new Goth look wasn't too frightning.... but just had to see my dad's reaction! Seriously though, it just shows the type of friends you are!! Will try to post some pics if I can manage to upload them! P.S - it's really good to be back in S.A!!

I aggree 100%, the first few days in Colombia I struggled so much to breath, i have been here for 13 days now, and still find it hard to recover during my intervals. How do you think a team will feel arriving at altitude 1 or 2days before the time. Its no use! The other countries such as Neeuw-Zeeland and Japan has sent their whole team to train at altitude a whole month before the time! If you sent a team you must do it right, and at the moment CSA just does not have that kind of money! Hey jusi hoor ek het heavy gesuffer en dan lyk dit asof almal so easy cruise!! ek het so gehoop om my pa weg te ry en toe bly hy by die bunch en ek het gedrop teen die laaste klim! het niks meer in my bene oor gehad nie! Het gister gaan ry en weer nie baie lekker gevoel nie, so ek dink ek is maybe besig om bietjie siek te word of iets, gelukkig het my coach vir my 'n rus week die week so vitamiene hier kom ons!!

Also the entrance for the race was pretty badly marked!! Luckilly we were there early but saw some of the people almost missed the start cause they couldn't find parking! Thanks Phen, hope we will have a good seasen in Europe!!
