I recently had a flat on my Merida. Turned out to be the valve. I had the tubless conversion done when I bought the bike and have never had a problem. Running the Maxxis cross mark LUST. Only thin is, when removing the tyre from the rim, I noticed that they had been glued on...is this normal practice?

Ha ha you guys make me laugh! Reminds me of a t-shirt I once saw a guy wearing at an event, and it read "Dear Lord, when I die please don't let my wife sell my bikes for what I told her I paid for them" Had to laugh...not that it applies to me! No, no...not me;-)

Great topic. I'm going through the whole saddle issue myself and have ordered the Selle Italia Maxiflight. Had my sit bones measured at 150mm and been told this is a good place to start. Unfortunately these saddles don't come cheap and I can see this being a fairly expensive learning curve.
