If you close to the river mouth I am sure it is fine. They have had to move the Redhouse river mile to Sundays now because Swartkops has become so polluted. I still paddle on the river tho and swam in the mouth the other day. North End is polluted again. They cleaned it up for WC in 2010 but since is dirty again. However we still paddle time trials every tuesday night there and hope to not swim

If you swim from the Pier to Humewood/6 Pack it is 1/1.2km(and Back to Pier) depending on tide from the beach. If you go a little further you will get to Tripod (metal stand on a rock) and that will give you about 1.5km -1.7km (and Back to Pier) Then you can swim to Mc Arthurs and back for a distance of about 2.5km

This whole post is a bit contradictory. You say you tried to bring something to this thread however you came in guns blazing calling people high school kids because they voicing their opinions as to what they would do if that was their wife. You voiced your opinion on what you thought of those guys saying they would do bodily hard to this bully. You also called them keyboard warriors or whatever. Much like high school kids would do on the play ground. You never really brought much to thread because you were asked what would you do if you were in the husbands shoes. You yet to answer that question. And if you going to fall back on the let the law take its coarse argument well you still adding no value to the thread because we all no that nothing will come of it from that angle. My view on this while matter. I would also find the guy and give him a beating.
