I don't understand why everyone wants fewer games and fewer teams. By them including an extra few teams and a longer competition does mean more money but it also means the game is growing which is great. Yes all the SA sides aren't doing to well this year (Except for Sharks but they not on top of their game at the moment) but that is not because we have 5 sides in the competition. We already faced with a problem where we are losing players to Overseas teams. If we narrow our teams down from 5 teams to 3 teams we will have more players leaving for "greener pastures". I do think SA rugby needs to manage our unions better and by doing this players will be managed better.
