  1. eugene 100% correct. It's just components across the 7000,8000 and LTD that differed.
  2. NO idea on pricing. But the only carbon bike in the range has ultegra. So not promising. Think max retail is R20 000 or so.
  3. My team frame was the 08 model, think it weighed well over 1.1kgs. RC8000c frame 970g and the components are much better. Ritchey evo 2 bars, 4 axis WCS stem, WCS seat post.SRAM force groupset. So now I'm thinking RED group would be hot.
  4. Cervelo I must admit I do have a soft spot for Cervelo bikes.
  5. Yeah not impressed with the 2011 range. But apparently they will be bringing out higher end bikes when the sign up with a pro team again. Losing MTN hurt them abit.
  6. I had a RC6000 alu in 2008 also with 105s lekker bike but abit porky. Bought a Carbon team frame. Still abit porky. So instead buying new groups etc just bought the 8000. Yup it's full carbon. Now my poor team bike is at home standing on it's lonesome. Maybe time to sell it.
  7. American classic Aero 3s at 1530g for a set and price R6000 at my LBS. Killer wheels and roll forever. Look at them.
  8. Agree with cheese. I have a RC8000C and it's awesome. Only thing I have changed are the mavics cos they are, well crap!!!! My bike wieghs 7.1kg with pedals and cages so very happy thanks.
  9. Always a couple of Raleigh haters on the hub. But I have had 4 Raleighs now and not one problem with after sales or any warranty issues. Only problem I've had is my STI packed up. Phoned my LBS and it was sorted out in a hour. Can't think of to many brands that offer that type of service.
  10. @ dangle. Thanks was loads of hard work. But more than worth it.
  11. @cbrun keep me posted on the developments and litle hubbers impending birth.
  12. I'm planning on upgrading to a rox9. PLease send me some info once you recieve it. One thing my Sigma lacks is the cadence function. Good choice on the Rox 9.
  13. UK 11 difficult to findcarbon shoes I like. Sidi are designed for midgets I reckon.
  14. Happy with my sigma bc 2006 mhr. Only problems I've found so far. Sometimes the computer loses signal from the chest strap and the speed pickup. Not often though. The computer is very easy to knock out of the twist lock system. But otherwise very happy with it.
  15. I started cycling so that I could have a kid. I wieghed a 142kg 18 months ago(1.89m tall 99kg now) I did not want to be a dad who could not particpate in his kids life. So cycling saved my life and gave me a new life to watch grow.
  16. HI Jack away. Just showing me how much it's going to be
  17. Rudo good point will show the wife when I get home.
  18. @Prozac what a gift a child on your Bday. I can't wait to meet my little hubber.
  19. We are still deciding if we want to know or not. I want to know she doesn't really but we will decide soon.
  20. @Rudo we have also made those arrangments. And she knows she rings, I will haul ass to be at her side. We will be going away for little week end breaks.
  21. @Cbrun good luck for wednesday. Will be buying a MTB for when the little hubber is big enough to sit in a seat. You've got to post some photos please. Don't know if you can PM them?
  22. @ thunder. Got lots of experience with toilet stops, she see's water she pee's!!! Hope you will post photo's of your little future hubber!
  23. @ Thunderflash I'm now doing all the house work and don't complain one bit. Always told the day she is preggies I will do everything possible to help her. But she has told me "make time for your bike"
  24. I will quiz her tonight and find out her other cravings. No weird food cravings yet!
