  2. I picked up this old bike recently. All info I got is that it's a Phillips bike which says "Made in England" on the handle bar. According to Wikipedia by 1980's Phillips was bought over by Raleigh. Also I read recently that from 1920, by law, you had to inscribe "Made in (destination)" on your products. Before that you could just put "England" on it, for example. So 1920 - 1980? Does anyone have more knowledge about this specific bike and from what time period it is? I'm toying with the idea of re-chroming the shiny bits and doing a full restoration. The bike is still in working condition - pumped up the tires and took it for a spin just after I got it and it felt good.
