After a visit to running inn I heard the words cycling shortens muscles. Now this ain't the first time I heard this.

 

So any Mythbuster out there who can point me or others that heard this and want to know the truth in the correct direction. Many thanks girls and guys.

It doesn't shorten the muscle. It's just because you don't use your hamstring as much if you only cycle. If you lie on the couch the whole day, all your muscles will shorten

Do hamstring stretches and you should be fine. Better yet, if you were at RUNNING Inn, you've already found the solution...RUNNING
