I hadn't heard of this site until reading this thread,

When buying from overseas is it true you pay 35% duty on landing?

What's the quality of the shorts? Padding?

I'm normally a large (size 34 jean pant) what size should I order from this site?

Ordered from them on two occasions - first time they sent the wrong size top and trying to get that rectified proved futile. Placed a second order and received correct goods with 3 weeks. Great value for money I must admit.

I order 2 jerseys from them for my wife.

 

Jersey one: She wears a small and I ordered a medium. Fits perfect!

 

Jersey two: Also order a women’s medium but got a mens medium. Way to big for her. The site and the pic says women’s jersey. I contacted them and they offered to mail me a new jersey at a reduced fee. I said that it fine and they can invoice me, but when I received the invoice it said women’s small. Not a medium. I pointed it out to them and they said they will ship a medium I should just pay the invoice.

 

So now I don’t really trust there information and administration. I don’t think I will be taking them up on their offer for the second jersey.

 

A plus is that they are really helpful and respond to e-mails within a day.

A negative is that the shipping took a bit long. About 6 weeks but as I read from other hubbers, the shipping time differs from order to order. I don’t think its them. I think its our customs.

 

The jerseys are great quality, but I will stick with order mens jerseys from them only. I think there can be to many mix ups if you buy women’s specific.

Since some guys over here dont hear anything after weeks of placing their orders, after one week of silence, I mailed them and asked whats happening with my order. Prompt response said the shorts have been out of stock but my order has now been dispatched, and my tracking number issued.

 

I'm a large but ordered extra large as some okes here suggested, so its wait and see. No customs issues in my neck of the woods so we'll see how long the shipping takes. I'm not having any joy from this website for tracking my parcel.

i bought from this web site for two reasons:

(1) low price... it just cannot be beat by any manufacturer or distributor (at least not one that i located - even on ebay)

(2) i wanted some team kit with high visibility colors -

may of this year (2011) i purchased from these guys the CAISSE D'EPARGNE bib shorts + jersey team kit (orange & yellow shorts-bibs)

 

results / obervations:

(1)shipping was somewhat slow - about 18 days. but personally i didn't mind.

(2)as others have pointed out, they're a "knockoff", "fake". again, personally this doesn't bother me...

i just wanted something to wear that was bright & team related... and cheap !

 

after buying the one set i was so impressed that i bought another set - only one size larger - same team kit.

 

so far, i have no complaints about the fit or feel of either the jerseys or bib shorts. they ride well for me, although they are noticably made with thinner material.

neither did i have any problems with the shipping.
