Nice bike. The only other "better" deal you might get is a second hand bike. Looks nice good starter bike. Just make sure there is someone in your area who can service the fork. The rest is childs play. There is nothing wrong with Schwinn frames.

Thanks for your 2c. Are the forks special that I would need someone in my area?

I have looked for second hand but getting impatient as my last bike got stolen and the money is burning a hole in my pocket and the fact I dont have a bike anymore.

Hi and here is my 2c worth.

I have had my schwinn moab elite for 2 months now and am still madly in love with it.

The bike goes well and I really feel like the king on it.As for specs well I do not think you are going to find a better new bike at this price. The shop were i bought mine actually said that if I bring it back they could sell it for R7500.00 cause they are battling to get stock in Cape Town.

Buy the bike you will not be sorry!!

Well thats great to hear from someone who actually rides one. The shop has a medium in stock but i put my name down to test a small when it arrives next week. I want to be able to throw it around a bit and i am on the short side. (173).

Hi guys Ive read your comments on the the moab. Iam also thinking of buying the bike for the frame and the fork? Do you have any idea what that frame weight in? I have very light components that I want to build onto the frame?

Hi there! I myself have a moab elite for about 4 months now! I can tell u I'm imensely impressed! Downside is the fork as its not for hard riding(XCR suntour with lockout). Make sure to read the label on the fork for the type of riding you want to participate in! I did the Hermitage MTB enduro challenge in june and it was a pleasure! I don't think you can go wrong in bying 1! Future upgrades, fork, crankset, straight bar, XT rims!(My preference) enjoy!
