  5. Are you sure it is going to be the "cream" ?? Friend of mines daughter was placed 1st in her category in the Western Cape but due to being the only cyclist from her school she does not qualify, check the western cape results for Chloe Parker! Some local schools brought girls who could hardly ride a bike just to make up numbers so their better riders could qualify, surely if you finish 1st in your category you qualify to go to the finals?
  6. Why not just fit a Mono rail front and Crossmark rear tyre, great on the loose stuff and hardy enough for the tar?
  7. Running XT cluster 11-42(removed the 19 tooth), 3 blades in front 22-36-44. You name the ratio and I think I have it. Great when I feel lazy and have left a few roadies what just happened on the road.
  8. Contact Taryn @ Global Marine Systems 021 5551574, had the same problem and they sorted it out.
  9. Majik forest should be safe to ride but is riding alone safe? I was bullet proof until I came off and had nobody to assist me
  10. Probably just a bit of a chest infection?
  11. Stupid question maybe but why would you want to change from a 3x10 to a 2x10? Weight saving is maybe 200g and personally I would rather have the wider selection of gears, with 2x10 you are going to loose out on ratio's ?
  12. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2013/05/download-garmin-705800810.html ,not saying I used this, but it could be your answer
  13. Screwing the adjuster out at the shifter will move the derailleur further away from the frame of the bike. If you do not have enough adjustment at the shifter well then yes you are going to have to adjust at the derailleur which becomes a bit more tricky dependant on your mechanical abilities.
