Was p!ssing this morning early in Wellington, was dripping in Stellies and was clear in G'bay. When I left G'bay this PM, it was dripping, and had rain on and off all the way home.... Winter is on it's way!

what you guys think of kenda excavator, I have that on the rear of my hardtail, still new, used it in the argus mtb challenge and it grips very well on all the dry stuff

Dont want to burst your bubble(scuse the pun :) )

But I went into the garage last nite to check on the hardtail and the front Nevegal has grown a groot bubble.Poked it and it spat at me.Totally vrot from the Stans.

Thays the 3rd Nevagal thats gone like that.Love the tyre but hell.

Exactly the same thing happened to my last Nevegal. Great tyres, pitty they the don't last from the inside or outside...

With winter officially here was just wondering what peoples tyre choice will be for the muddy mayhem. I quite like the look of the Maxxiss Ardents and they look like they will shed mud sufficiently too.

So,when are you coming to the farm,I will give you a day for free since you are dying for good weather :-) Make that booking now, I can promise you a very lush and over grown bush, my gosh I have never seen it like this ?

Is it really raining in Cape Town? I'm coming over in three weeks and its bone dry and 16C in the UK. Racing Ralphs are on - will I need my mud tyres?

Drizzling more than raining mate, and cloudy, pretty much like a summers day in the UK :P

Love it though the bit of rain is going to settle the sand and dust and now trail maintenance can begin again, to get rid of all the grooves caused by over eager breakers locking up in corners. Can't wait for them packed surfaces again.

Did Meerendal again last night and the bit of drizzle ensured so much of grip it was awesome.
