deanbean Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) I don't know whether I should go the whole hog, half or chicken out. The choice is 36x21/20, 1x9 or chicken out and do it on the DS. The DS is always fun, and that hill is rather daunting, I've not attempted it before on the SS. Its the 240m rise in 4km at an average of 6% grade that puts me off. the rest is do-able, but that 4 km, forestry roads, loose surface, I dunno. Edited March 24, 2011 by deanbean

TheSlowCyclist Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 DS as in Dual suspension? If so, I would stick with gears
deanbean Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Decided to do it on the bouncy geary, as my riding buddy was getting married in the arvie, and I'd have been in trouble if I was late, and I had to race in a tri the next day. Would have never been for given if my legs were wooden there.
