Meerendal is also a nice place to take the kids. They get the fun of riding single track, but its not technical.

The other place to try in a week or 2 is taking him to Ntida, they are building a dual slalom track where kids and adults can play. When the adults get tired, they can sit at the restaurant and have something to drink while the youngsters with all their energy carry on.

I like what Tygerberg mtb is doing with the kids. They have a "training" session on a Wednesday I think where the kids all come along and get to learn technical skills etc and have fun with a bunch of other kids. They then go to the little mtb races (5-15kms depending on kids age).

My son is almost 3 and if I take him to any singletrack etc, I can't get him off his motorbike afterwards. He will stop, have a rest and then carry on.
