Planning a ride this saturday...if the weather is good!

We start at Majik Forrest, take the road to Meerendal to do the red route, back trough D'Urbanvale and over Malanshoogte (lekker heavy klim op die pad) back via Tiekie draai and then the single track at Majik Forrest down to parking lot! EISH!

If you are keen....feel free to join this ride...+- 50km

Let's see how the weather turns out....but be prepared....Malanshoogte is a "lekker" climb! Definitly not for the unfit!

Not from that side of the town, where is that climb located if you don't mind me asking?

Just past Diemersdal Wine Estate & Spes Bona you will get a turn of to the left called "Malanshoogte"....its gravel road for about 4km and then back to tar....climb is about +-3km long, but worth it for training!

What time do you plan on starting?

Logistics is preventing me from doing the Tru Cape, but I must get out for a training ride.

We start 07:15 at the Protea Hotel next to Majik Forrest (Jip de Jager) for save parking of the cars. You are welcome to join!
