Can't fit my mtb to the tacx cycletrack trainer.

Hi,

 

I bought a secondhand Tacx Cycletrack indoor trainer. The seller used a road bike on the trainer, and did not know if a MTB would work. I bought a slick tyre for the job, but when I tried to set up the bike, it seems as if this trainer is road bike specific. With the roller in the highest position there is about a centimeter space between the roller and the tyre. Am I missing something, or is this trainer only for road bikes?

 

Please help!

 

If it is road bike specific, it is for sale again or to swop for one that is mtb compatible.

You missing the plates that fit under the mag for the 26" wheel

Your trainer can only fit the 700C wheels at the moment.I lost the plates

For my trainer to fit the 700C wheels abit of bad luck on your side.Hope

The seller was so kind to swop it back for my money! So the hunt starts again... This time I'll take my back wheel with to fit & make sure.....

I took some plates out on mine then it was 100% for the MTB

Yup just contact cool heat and they will ship the plates to a retailer closest to you, when I needed these plates for my Imagic they sent it for free.
