During my recent bout of training I started to get sore in the back of my one knee and same calf. The other leg is fine? What can cause this?

Wrong bike setting?

Cleet setup?

Style?

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Dave

P.S. Sould you cleet setup toe in slightly, out or track straight?

nah not cleat float...I hate that.

Knee pain at the back of it could indicate that your saddle is bit to high....but yo mentioned your back and calve as well. You could be overextending with that specific leg, due to a leg length descrepancy or your not sitting square on the seat. Sit on trainer and let someone observe you from behind and see if you have a hip drop at the one side.

P.S. Sould you cleet setup toe in slightly, out or track straight? Your feet should be in a natural position.I walk with my feet pointing outwards... so when my feet is on pedal base it points slightly outwards
