It looks as though it could be right, however, I have wedges that fit between the cleat and sole. If I add the grip as well, the screws are way too short. What do I do then? What does the book say regarding the grip tape, I don't have it with me, sorry!

:-) Does it make sense?

The picture does make sense. Only thing is that in your first post you said, "We suggest to stick it on the plate of your chosen pedal." I guess that was wrong as you're sticking it on the sole now?

Yes, I copied it from the SIDI manual but afterwards realised it didnt make any sense? So we investigated...

We are sticking it on the sole now, yes!

:-) Have a super day!

This is stupid. Do I have to put on the abrasive strip? I am using the Look memory function, and the strip has no opening for this. Also I don't like the way it overlaps out on the sides. (I have keo cleats)

Haha I've just been struggling with this.

I reckon sticking it on the sole with the abrasive side to the cleat has to be the right answer. I have Look Keo cleats too and I'm going to cut out a bit for the memory plate, because I can't get that to sit still on the slippery carbon of the sole anyway, without some sort of additional help.
