Big Creek Guest Lodge (Maanhaarrand) is offering FREE safe parking to cyclists wanting ride Breedtsnek pass. The 2 off road options from the lodge are slightly shorter than from Hekpoort Garage. I have stayed at Big creek previously and as Arno says, there are a couple of dirt road route options available and easily accessible, including still going up Breedts Nek. His spot is about 11km from the Hekpoort garage/bottle store site, further west along the R560 (closer to Magaliesburg). I suggested to Arno that he load some maps. He does have a nice spot for parking and then chilling afterwards.

I think he's confusing it with the Satelite race in the same area?
