    Omelette, who are u with?I had a recent discussion with my insurer: bikes that had been insured for longer enjoyed better rates. In other words a newer biker (year) for a lesser value had a higher monthly premium. Go figure. Argued. Came down a tad. (cycle sure)

    BTW, I've always enjoyed refurbing older bikes (yours is not old/abused) nut the durability of the final product has not been up to scratch (unless you talk to the master in the Cape I am told). All the best

    Not sure on your renting options mattewproctor. Final restraint condition - take as much time as possible. Perhaps consider wrapping it once finished as it appears that although the final finish looks magic, it is not as durable as the original OEM finish

    No, only allow solo vs solo. Yes, the issue is to police that. But it could be the same now by disallowing ANY support/assistance from a fellow rider. Goes against the ethos of sport I know but like in Xc you want to see the best rider emerge. Not the best well backed-up team

    Tend to disagree. 1st prize is comfort/fit and for some/many women that may involve a women specific bike.After-sale: the normal £1m question - sure u would like to be more mainstream but we're you happy until then? There is a SC carbon S frame for sale @R30k which I think is a bargain but ad a 29er it is a step to far (for my wife). Comfort for the rider has to be foremost. Sale secondary imo
