eraser Posted June 19, 2011 Share Jacques a few questions... Road or MTB? Your average speed? Distance you ride at that speed? Anything else that potential groups need to know?
Andrie Posted June 19, 2011 Share Jacques, I am interested. My ideal is to do a 3 hour ride on a Sunday morning (Saterdays could also work). I would prefer to average 30+ km/hr. Please let me know what your speed target is. Regards Andre
Schnavel Posted June 19, 2011 Share Andre, next week sunday I would be keen for a ride with you guys... I normally ride between 75 and 100km and average roughly 30km/h on my own, so I'm sure if we all went together we could get an even better average. Where do you normally ride? Edit*** I'm in the Rosebank area, so I could easily meet up with you. I normally ride out by the craddle as there is a nice cycling lane and minimal traffic Edited June 19, 2011 by Schnavel

Teardrop Posted June 22, 2011 Share Check out the local clubs in the Randburg area. They all have group rides. Then there is always cycle lab that you can join on saturdays. If you just would like to ride and no one to chat. Join cycle lab as they allow riders to join as long as they do not intefere with group dinamics. If looking for a sociable ride join one of the local clubs.

divernick Posted August 8, 2011 Share Jacques - search for "Spruit" threads and get in touch with the guys who ride there regularly. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/105915-spruit-route-from-mb-paulshof/page__p__1453030__fromsearch__1#entry1453030 Many guys ride from Paulshof up towards Emmarentia, and many guys ride from Craighall area.
