So, I am on teh market to purchase a roadbike as i really enjoy the sport. So these are my options: 2010 Trek Madone 4.5 (second hand)Full carbonKysurium SL wheelsMixed shimano groupset consisting of Dura Ace Sti's, Ultegra brake calipers, 105 rear and front derailer.Cost: R11 000.00 The other option is:2011 Giant TCR Composite (new)Full carbonDT Swiss WheelsComplete Shimano Ultegra except for brake calipers which is 105 (can be swapped out for Ulegra @ cost of R600)Cost: R18 000.00 What do i do? splat Posted June 23, 2011 Share I have the Giant and love it, so am obisoulsy biased. Get the one that inspires you the most and be sure to ge the right sized frame with a proper bike setup.Its no use having a nice looking bike that doesnt fit you properly.
