TIMEprb Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Had a similar issue after doing a software update on my Edge. It just wouldn't detect my heart rate, rather gave an error message "detecting multiple heart rate straps" I sent Garmin an email and 2 weeks later they released a later software version (2.8) which rectified the problem. Give them a shout.
Tankman Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Time, that was a known issue with 2.7 and I warned peeps here not to use to 2.7 maar as jy nie wil hoor nie moet jy voel! Dubber, there can be many causes to your issue, read more here or search gramin forums.
Dubber88 Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 Dankie. Die HR strap het perfek gewerk op die nuutste sagteware. Sal bietjie rondspeel met posisies. Miskien is dit nou maar net sy tyd na lang getroue diens.

I strapped on the strap( with wet electrodes as usual) with no detection, started cycling and after a while it just picked up, and went on working for the whole session as if there was nothing wrong with it. Maybe a weak connection / shortage between the electrode and centre piece. I'l post an update tomorrow to see what has happened in the meantime. But for now it's focussing on planning the new build Anybody wants to buy a Silverback Surplus 2 full XT( SLX chainset) for R14500 NEG?
Guest Travis. Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Dis die Bliksemse koue! Myne het dit ook gedoen laas week. Ek't 'n nuwe battery gekoop en alles. Toe werk hy nogsteeds nie. Toe hou ek hom maar aan terwyl ek oefen en toe werk hy weer. Die ou battery terug gesit, so ek't nou 'n ekstra Ek vryf hom nou so bietjie warmer en plak hom met so bietjie spoeg op my bors. Hy werk nou weer 100%
