Hi All,

Having lurked for a while on the board, here goes with my first post...

My son has outgrown his Raleigh Strike 20" bike. I've looked at the Silverback Atomic in 24" which looks like a good buy, any other suggestions?

Anyone had experience with any of the scott kids bikes? I see they have some quality stuff like the scott scale RC for kids but have no idea of the price? Sure it is very expensive though.

I am also looking at upgrading my son from 20" to 24" bike and not sure what to look at. The silverback eclipse he is riding now has been ok but front shock is useless and overall quality a bit questionable.

Specialised also has one called the hotrock 24" but also no idea as to what it offers. Really looking for the lightest bike i can find for him as kids bikes normally weigh a ton.

Any ideas?

Silver back Atomic is the best value for money, bought two last year for my twins. They ride them every day. no issues. They are bullet proof.

PM me and i can tell you where i bought them.

Ended up buying the Silverback Atomic as well, after looking at the Giant, Avalanche and Titan. (Looked at Scott as well - plain stupid price for a 24" kids bike - around R10Kohmy.gif)

My son is very happy with it - he test rode all of them and made his decision on how the bike felt to ride. I wasn't complaining, the Silverback was the cheapest!

Ended up buying it at Linden Cycles.
