This morning's commute was not a good one.

I nearly got taken out by a truck and later a bakkie cut me off so he could talk to a woman walking on the pavement.

I memorised the licence plates and would like to talk to their bosses.

If anyone can help me trace the owners of these vehicles please send me a PM and I will give you the licence numbers.

Thanks

Ya, not lekker. Not that I'm commuting(a bt far) but I regularly watch who/what is coming up behind me in traffic, even when its quiet. With trucks you need to be extra vigilent.

Yes.

The driver would not stop to continue the conversation and vehicle unfortunately had no identification decals. There was a clipboard on the dashboard so I assume it is a company vehicle.

I guess when commuting, one needs to develop patience, calm and serenity to compare with the Dalai Lama. The main thing, I Fly, is are you OK?

Cant agree with you more , commuting is no place for bad egos, you will loose.

I am not in the same class as the Dalai Lama but I try to be cool, calm, collected and ultra observant. I also contact companies when their drivers have gone out of their way to give me space on the road.

Yes. I am fine. I pavement hopped to avoid truck and put a flat spot on my rear tyre to avoid bakkie.
