Possible stolen Scott Scale/Aspect

Hey all

 

Was out for a road ride today and spotted a gent riding a royal blue Scott hardtail with red Manitou fork, not sure which model but it did have v-vrake bosses, seemed like a R7 or Minute, bike seemes to be a 2006 Scale model in Alu but can't be sure.

This was by Waterkloof Hoërskool.

 

Anyone that got such a bike nicked recently should be on the lookout in the area.

Was a black gent riding it, newspaper tucked into the back of his pants, nice shiny white sneakers.

 

Could have been his but seems slightly fancy to me for someone that's not actually cycling for sport but for transport.

True, but as a cyclist I feel one tends to be able to see if the person if actually a cyclist or not, however subjective that may be

Yeah, it is a fine line.... but, at some point, lines need to be crossed to start curbing the theft of bicycles (or anything else for that matter) by others.
