Mackie Posted October 9, 2011 Share It's a GT, that's all you need to know!
American Flyers Posted October 10, 2011 Share I ride it and the frame is fantastic and stiff. The wheels are quite heavy, but strong. I managed to upgrade to lighter wheels. I am very happy with it.

I'm the Crankbrother Posted October 10, 2011 Share Its a great bike.Good handling.Very fast on sand and rocky areas but slower on steep climbs. On downhills during races very fast and reliable. On the "sinkplaat" and thick sandy roads during the crater cruise it runs much smoother than a 26 inch bike. The components on the bike are mostly x9 10 speed with formula hubs and a reliable fox f29 shock . kevink Posted October 11, 2011 Share thanks! would you recommend the bike? just one problem- the frame and stickers are white-on-white... but otherwise looks like really great bike!
kevink Posted October 12, 2011 Share can the kenda tyres be converted into tubeless??
American Flyers Posted October 12, 2011 Share Ja, just take out tube and put on yellow tape around it and put tubeless valve, then add stans and pump it ready!
CAAD4 Posted October 12, 2011 Share Saw a black GT 29er the other day, not sure of the model. Almost looked like a nice bike.
KnobbyMech Posted October 12, 2011 Share can the kenda tyres be converted into tubeless?? Please take this piece of advise to heart: Never use sealant with any Kenda tyre, not even UST ones!! Chances are great you will end up looking like this pretty soon while staring at the massive bulges due to delamination of the inner layers of the tyre. American Flyers Posted October 12, 2011 Share I don't have problem with those tyres and I used stans. I used them for 6 months- no problems!

CAAD4 Posted October 14, 2011 Share i think it is the new 2012 Korakoram... not too bad! but its an entry level Rode with someone on a raw black carbon GT 29er Pro this morning. Fox fork, X9/X0 10x2, DT Swiss wheeels. Bought from CL Fourways last week. Black bikes have been proven to be faster, I read it here on the Hub....
