I am a contartc worker and work where ever the $$$$ are good by choice. I am acting Project Manager for the Epe Lekki Toll Project in Lagos State. The previous one did not do his job and I inherited the project. As part of Management in the Company I have to work. I secured my ARGUS trip by working now!!!!!

I have built no wheels. I'm working solely from a theoretical standpoint, coupled with my day-to-day experience from designing and modelling various furnace structures, cooling systems and other ancillaries. So far none of those have failed in the course of normal operation

 

glad to know your furnaces etc work - when I need one I will come to you

 

however me thinks that when I need a wheel built I may go to the person who has actually gained experience in real life - +800 wheels built with minimal failure ain't bad the man obviously knows a thing or two - even if he doesn't  like the "fancy technology"!!!!!!!

If I need a wheel built, I will go to a wheelbuilder. If need to know how a wheel works, I will go to an engineer or someone who (like Johan) can demonstrate a sound knowledge of wheel theory.

 

An analogy: I will put my life in the hands of a skilled aircraft technician, but I don't expect him to have more than a basic knowledge of aerodynamics or structural mechanics.
