Meeting time for Lido loop?

Can anyone tell me what the meeting time is for morning rides in the south from cnr klipriver/swartkoppies during the week? Also, what is the pace during these rides?

there is a group that leaves at 5 tues - thur

some go long, ie cheesefactory, some just do Nampak loop

pace depends on the mood, but usually quite hectic

some dont keep up, so they wait a bit

 

there used to be a 5:15 group - not too sure if they still go out

perfect, thanks for the feedback. Will be there from next week.... Usually go out at about 5:15 but solo. would rather go with a bunch.

Alive and kicking, thanks Trubie, doing the mtb itch at the moment and road over the weekend.

It started of as a nice ride....with the bunch. However, my friend that i brought along got a flat and the bunch left us. Would not generally mind....but after almost being robbed i did not appreciate the fact that the guys dont care. Two minutes waiting would have cost them nothing....but almost cost us our bikes. Not on....and that after one of the guys wanted to stop and the rest just ignored his call to stop!

 

if we kept the guys up i would say yes, but we stayed in the bunch the whole way. i know i would have stopped!!!!

 

wanted to make it a regular thing, as cycling solo everyday is not great. but after this morning i might just as well go back to solo riding.

sorry to hear bud, I dont know why that happened as normally most of the group stops, and the guy/s who need to be home early leave on their own.

I rode with the group yest morning and a guy puctured just before we got to Klipriver and we all stopped for almost 10 mins........ so I am not sure who was in the group on the morning of your ride, but that def isnt the norm.
