Thanks Dangle, the light, angle and almost everything about this pic was wrong therefore i turned the highlights up (had nothing to loose)I just wanted to see what the software was capable off ! I took three seperate frames holding the camera without a tripod. I have been looking into HDR photography over the last week and finally gave it a shot. Used Photomatix Pro 4.2.1 for the HDR effects and touched it up in lightroom. Not an easy shot because of the light from the open door. Found this unique bike at Cava motor in downtown Jozi.

The 35km route.

My daugthter and I attended a photo shoot on Friday in Walkerville. Learnt a lot and had a ball - no pressure just plenty of different things to try

Totally enjoyed the race today, only did the 35km but had a ball. Fast and windy but all good. Hope this becomes a regular race.

Spoke to JB at yellow saddle, he reckons you need to remove the shock and move the rear of the frame and feel for any notches. The rear bearings are cartridge bearings and don’t need servicing only inspection. The two swivel ball bushes on either side of the shock should be dry as lube will attract dirt and there is no way to completely seal these. I will inspect mine tonight and use a dash of blue loctite for good measure.

Got the torque wrench but I am paranoid in getting the values just right as the spacers are aluminium ! I am worried about the ball joints on either side of the shock as these are dry ?

Any idea where I can get the torque settings for a Volcan ?

What precautions do you take when servicing the linkages on your bike ? How often, what torque when tightening and do you lube the ball joints on both ends of the rear shock ? How often do you inspect the stem bearings as well ?

Thanks Guys, as any typical teenager - she thrives on feedback. The hand photo was taken by her after a few days in hospital, she was lying on the couch one morning in the lounge playing with the shadows. The nail was taken at her old grandparents house that brought back so many good memories.

Love the texture against the dark sky.
