Paarl swimming

I'm looking for a place in Paarl where i can do some swim training for long distance swimming, is there a pool/dam somewhere we you can train which is longer than the pool in Virgin Ative?

I was training for Ironman in the dorp's swimming pool, right across Faure stadium.

call the people at the Ashanti Wine farm...WP Aquatics use this venue for open water swims...the next event is on 26 Nov...10km, 5km, 3km, 1km, or 400m events available....

They have an event this Saturday as well - The Winelands Mile

 

Can you send me info on the Nov 26 event?

 

But I definitely agree that this may be a good location to train in if you get permission!
