Hi guys, after a long time researching, i decided to build my own bike..

Im looking for 10 speed Sram components, new/unused please!! already have a crankset.

also, new sid xx fork or similar, and lightweight 29er wheels.. please pm any info, or leave a post.. suggest shops, persons etc..thanks a lot, this is going to be my dream machine... appreciate any input

Don't know those brands so can't really comment..

You are not going to find too many decent second hand 10 speed mtb components here. or anywhere else.

 

Shop around for new components: CRC, CWC, Buycycle and others.

 

It's fun and an education building up your own bike, certainly not the cheapest way of doing it, be warned!

not cheap, but if you shop around, there are always good deals around!! but its fun yes....

I did my Bulls Copperhead like that 2 weeks ago - see pic.

 

I had most of the components and shop the rest 2nd hand.

 

It still came up to about 9k just for rolling chassis.

 

I went 3 X 9 just cause I had it - going new will be pricy but if its your dream machine why not? Helga is my biatch!!! So I went low tech - HT & 3 X 9 Alli all the way.

 

That way I dont feel bad taking a crash and I dont feel sorry for her when I ride! When in doubt - go flat out.

 

Small recommendation - I have a 630mm bar and it does feel a bit small - see what suits your style and beware - you need to turn her with conviction! Dbl minded will get you in trouble.

well done, good looking bike hey!! i have a budget of a bit more, so going the new(ish) route where i can!!
