Do you honestly think that the Lord Almighty cares if you commit adultery? If you murder? If you worship false prophets? Do you honestly think that The Lord gave you a set of rules, commandments if you will, and then let you choose which ones to follow, and which ones to make up your own mind about? We're not talking about the same God, are we? In case you missed it, yes, I honestly believe that God cares about what I do, and when I do it. Especially if I do or not do something on a day He has declared as Righteous. Why? Cause God cares about me. About every teeny tiny thing I do. Isn't that the point? Well, it is not for either of us to decide who interpreted what is said/implied correctly. We are both responsible for our actions. And as long as you accept that, then you are fine. I ride and race on a Sunday. But I do it with the Lord by my side. That beats sitting in church... feeling alone...lost...distracted...wondering why you feel this way... You asked if: "and then let you choose which ones to follow, and which ones to make up your own mind about?"Yes, I think so. Look around you my friend. If we followed all the rules all the time, there would really be no GOD!!! What would be the point of Him being there? What would he do??? Anyway, I hate talking about religion. I really do. We all want to be God's perfect little soldier. And in our eagerness to get there/become that, we trample on others, and miss the basic fundementals of being Christion. Love. Care. Listen. Help. Support. etc. It is more important to be right than to be Christian. And for that reason, I stopped going to church - but never stopped believing.
