Guys going down Sandton drive

To the guys going down Sandton drive at around 6 in the morning, there are a few guys in your pack I notice that constantly use up 2 lanes....Really? you can’t just stay in one lane? Every morning I watch and wonder what if some car doesn’t change lanes fast enough, who are these roadies going to blame?

 

I am new to cycling but from what I understand the unwritten rule is stay on left hand side and try keep as close to the side walk as possible with out it being dangerous?

Probably the same a--holes that ride through Hyde Park in the mornings making full use of as much road space as possible

We go down Sandton Drive on Wednesdays at 5:10 and at 80 kmph we use the whole road.

Cant be me. I go down at 5am Saturdays and use the whole road for myself.

It's fine, they think they are invincible on their 7kg carbon machines..... until they get taken out by 1x cretin behind steering wheel.

 

Good luck to them. I keep as far left as possible and I still cr@p myself when I see that glazed over look in some of our other road users eyes.
