The difference in crosswinds is ridiculous even compared to a 50mm (shallower) profile

When I am big, I am getting me some of dat Firecrests 808s...

Never had Bora's, but I love my Zipp 404 Firecrest.

I found a deal of note on a set of Zipp 404 Firecrest Carbon Clinchers. It was waaaaaay more than I was budgeting to spend but deals like this are once in a lifetime.

 

After doing about 500k's on them all I can say is WOW!!! They are absolutely fantastic. The biggest differences for me is the cornering ability and the lightweight when climbing. I used them at the Jailbreak which was my first TT experience on them and I was blown away at how much easier it is to maintain speed.

 

I'm sure the BORA's are awesome as well. At then end of the day it comes own to how much $ you have and are willing to spend. Either way you wont be disappointed.
